gmat GMAT and other school examinations can be extremely stressful. Strategies to prepare for passing GMAT exams can be really helpful. Unfortunately few GMAT students know how. Pay attention. We'll show you how to save time, money and stress.

Q1) Why do some GMAT students study very hard and fail while others study little and pass with higher grades?

Q2) Why do some GMAT students cruise through exams while other GMAT students choke?

It is not always natural ability or intelligence. Read the following exam / test taking tips and pass your GMAT exams with less effort.

Exam preparation strategy obviously includes knowing your subject. There is no substitution for that. How you perform on exam day depends on many things. Read on.

GMAT Exam/test taking strategies and preparation tips:

GMAT Exam Tip 1: Sleep well the night before—Nothing replaces this. A rested mind almost always performs better. GMAT exams are very tiring.

GMAT Exam Tip 2: Read ALL the questions as soon as you receive the GMAT paper—Your mind automatically categorizes the hard and easy GMAT questions. Answer the easy ones first while your mind automatically works on the hard ones in the background.

GMAT Exam Tip 3: Visualize / Mentally rehearse passing the GMAT exam extremely well before you do the GMAT tests. Prepare mentally.

GMAT Exam Tip 4: When preparing for GMAT use mind mapping—Mind mapping is an excellent tool to use for taking notes and recalling that GMAT information. Learn it.

GMAT Exam Tip 5: Stimulate the right brain-waves—No kidding. Research on Brain waves shows that when you get into the right state, otherwise know as the "alpha state", your brain unlocks its memory banks and retrieves and accesses your knowledge easily. If you are stressed, nervous or afraid of failing your GMAT memory banks will become constrained. Learn how to access the Alpha State.

GMAT Exam Tip 6: Relax and remove your fear of failure—Of course you can handle failure! RELAX! Too serious = Too much pressure. Try smiling when taking the GMAT.
